The stellar growth of Somerset manufacturing business CME Ltd continues as it announces the appointment of Sakeb Zahoor, an expert in complex automation solution sales.
At a time when the manufacturing industry is facing huge challenges, CME is the home-grown business which is bucking the trend. Not only has it doubled its annual turnover from £7m to £14m within the last three years, it was named International Company of the Year at Business South West Insider’s 2019 Global Growth Awards, has been shortlisted for an Exceptional Sales Award at the PPMA Total Awards, and at the PPMA show in October it is launching a brand new, highly advanced product – the Ultra Hygienic Robotic Food Handling Cell. This is the first of three new products it has promised to bring to market within the next 12 months. As part of this significant expansion, the company has announced the appointment of Sakeb Zahoor as Senior Technical Sales Manager.
Working alongside the existing team and primarily targeting new market sectors, Sakeb’s remit encompasses the UK, Ireland and Europe, where he will be talking to companies about CME’s impressive catalogue of standard and bespoke packaging and process automation solutions.
Sakeb brings with him more than 20 years of experience in engineering solution sales and management.
