Award winning Somerset based Automation and Packaging Machinery specialist CME Limited has announced the appointment of two new team members.  These latest appointments further bolster resources within key areas of the business.

The latest additions to the CME team who have started with the business in recent months include David Prowse who takes the new role of Compliance Manager. David’s duties will focus on safety and compliance aspects relating to the range of automation and packaging technologies manufactured by the company. This includes ensuring adherence to relevant legal requirements such as the machinery directive, CE and UKCA, or country-specific requirements such as CSA and UL approvals for the different export markets which CME serves. David brings with him over twenty years of experience working within the defence sector in a systems engineering role, which included the development of safety critical systems.

Also joining CME is Velichka Koeva who has taken over the Technical Author role within the company. Velichka has a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and Construction, and her career to date includes a range of Design, Technical Management and Project Management positions, primarily within the construction sector. Velichka is responsible for the production of manuals, parts lists and full documentation packages for the bespoke systems manufactured by CME.  Her role links with that of David Prowse in ensuring that all documentation meets the appropriate regulatory standards.
